Chicago 3hr Shuffle Day w/ Ciara & Kento!!!

CHICAGO ARE YOUUUUU READYYYYY⁉️❤️‍🔥 We are extremely excited to be hosting this 3 hour shuffle day, and have a wholesome time with you all in the studio✨

All classes are geared for all level shufflers from complete beginners to experienced shufflers💚

We encourage you to take all 3 classes to get the most value and the full experience💛

Read below for the plan for the day💙

1:00~2:00pm | Foundations & Technique w/ Ciara | All Levels

🔹 In the first hour and beginning of the day, we’ll be starting off by leaning into the shuffle foundations from a technical standpoint, as well as aligning ourselves on shuffle terminology and basics. This class is an accessible, digestible opportunity to fine tune and refine the details, as well as create definition in your style. This hour together is a perfect warm-up to lead us into the following 2 hours.

2:00~3:00pm | Footwork Creativity w/ Kento | All Levels

🔹 The second hour will be a fun interactive space where we will be exploring some concepts, ideas, tips, and tricks on how to strengthen that mind-body connection in order to be creative with our footwork in Shuffle Dancing. By the end of the this class, you will have a deeper understanding of how your body moves and a fresh mindset to flourish in your shuffles🧠🩷 

3:00~4:00pm | Round Structure for Freestyles/Battles w/ Ciara & Kento | All Levels

🔹 In the last hour we will apply what we learned in the first two classes into round structure for general freestyling and battling. What are we supposed to think or feel when I freestyle/battle? We’ve all been there where we get in the rut of doing the same moves when we freestyle. Ciara and I will share some of the tools that has helped us move our bodies with more confidence and intention to give our movement meaning, emotion, and a story on the dance floor.
